Woolpedia Colors - Merino Doubles
Material: 75% virgin wool, 25% polyamide
Each yarn skein is a unique dye!
Please note that each skein may vary in color, brightness, gradient, or size of swabs.
This skein is dyed double-threaded. That means you would get 2 identical cuffs / socks / hats, etc. even if it is a unique handdye.
Doubles tend to stripes and to create "marble-cake" shapes.

Projects made with merino wool do not absorb the smell of sweat and do not smell like synthetic yarns. Wool clothes do not have to be washed several times. Simple airing is often enough. Wool is dirt-repellent. Wash only if heavily soiled. This is a big advantage over synthetic clothing, which is changed almost daily. Saves electricity, water, detergent and time. This is not unhygienic.
Hand-dyed wool may lose color when washed for the first time.
